What Happens in Vegas? Growth.

We all know the cliché: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.

But this week? That’s not how it went down.

What happened in Vegas was growth.

They weren’t just at the poker tables & slot machines.

The REAL bets I saw in Vegas were in the rooms, the hallways, the elevators, the networking events, and the committee meetings.

I saw you betting on yourself:

  • Maybe you took the stage for the first time
  • Maybe you raised your hand in a room full of power players and shared your idea (hell yes)
  • Maybe you walked up to someone you’ve only seen on LinkedIn and said, “Hey, I think I know you”
  • Maybe you sat at a table full of strangers and resisted the urge to bolt
  • Or maybe you literally jumped off the Sphere to raise money for a cause (yep, that happened – thanks Move for Hunger)

None of that is easy. There’s no guaranteed applause, no instant payout. But you did it anyway. You showed up, took a risk, and bet on yourself.

If you didn’t think anyone noticed…I did! And if I’m being honest, I placed a bet on myself too.

I wasn’t nervous to take the stage for my two sessions, but I was nervous about letting down the women I was speaking with. They’re total powerhouses, and I didn’t want to be the weak link. So I did what I always do. I showed up with a great attitude, stayed true to my voice, and came prepared. That’s all any of us can do.

Taking a risk doesn’t always mean making noise. Sometimes it means showing up fully, even when imposter syndrome whispers in your ear.

So here’s your unofficial Vegas recap (yes, we’re still hosting the recap call) and your official reminder: bravery looks different for everyone.

Sometimes it’s a speech. Sometimes it’s just saying yes to sitting at the damn table or no to one more drink or invite.

Whatever your version was, I see you. And I’m proud of you/us!

Let’s keep making bold moves together, on purpose.
