In a delightful twist of fate, Tara met her husband Rob at a multifamily conference in Indianapolis, where their shared love for the field ignited a romance that continues to inspire others. Adding to the multifamily dynasty, Tara’s mother-in-law is retired from the industry, making it a true family affair.

I’ve been in the multifamily industry for over 20 years, and I’ve had some incredible mentors help me navigate the highs and lows. Their advice stuck with me, and I wanted to create a space where mentorship actually means something, not just another stuffy networking group.
I sat on this idea for years. Self-doubt crept in, and I kept wondering, “What the hell makes me qualified to launch a mentorship group?” But eventually, I realized the multifamily industry was missing a space that felt real, welcoming, and a little less corporate.
This group isn’t about titles, egos, or keeping up appearances. It’s about authenticity, connection, and conversations that matter. We keep things casual, inclusive, and refreshingly honest. No gatekeeping. No cliques. Just good people supporting each other and having fun along the way.

His impressive collection of tattoos, including one of Tara’s face on his arm, reflects his unique personality. With a background in lacrosse coaching, Rob excels in leadership, emphasizing preparation, focus, and constructive feedback. His experience as an on-air personality in Atlanta further honed his communication skills, enabling him to connect with diverse audiences.

Cynthia Samuels, the multifamily maven with a heart of gold, has traded in her full-time retirement for a part-time passion project. As the behind-the-scenes matchmaker extraordinaire for Multifamily Mentor Matchmaking, Cynthia brings over 30 years of industry wisdom to the table.
A serial entrepreneur with three successful ventures under her belt, Cynthia found her true calling in the multifamily industry. Her knack for fostering authentic relationships and her deep understanding of the field make her an invaluable asset to the mentorship group.
While Cynthia initially planned to spend her golden years perfecting her golf swing and lunching with friends, she quickly realized that the multifamily world still had a special place in her heart. Now, she’s back in action, supporting her son Rob and daughter-in-law Tara in their mission to connect industry professionals through mentorship.
