Three Years In: The Quiet Wins Are the Loudest
Tomorrow is our 3-year anniversary call, and I’m sitting here equal parts proud, grateful, and a little mind-blown that this is REAL! Three years ago, Multifamily Mentor Matchmaking was an idea with a whole lot of heart behind it. Today, it’s a community creating real momentum in multifamily, not because it’s polished, but because it’s personal.
We’ve hit milestones that still make me stop and smile. Matches that turned into career pivots, confidence boosts, and conversations people didn’t know they needed. Members who stepped up to host calls, share lessons, and pour into others without needing a stage. Podcasts and articles that helped amplify what we’re building. An award that wasn’t a “look at us” moment. It was proof the disruption is working!
But my favorite milestone is the one I don’t always hear about.
I keep finding out through random comments, side texts, and “did you know” messages that people are connecting and matching on their own! No form. No intro from me. Just two humans reaching out because this space feels safe enough to do it. And honestly, that’s the best news. Because it means the culture is working. It means the community is doing what it was built to do.
If you’ve been here since the beginning, THANK YOU for helping shape the vibe. If you’re newer, thank you for saying yes to a different kind of mentorship and a REAL community. This group has never been about perfection. It’s about showing up, being real, and taking your next step, even if it’s messy.
And now we head into 2026 with a serious level-up: 12 committee members across 4 regions helping us elevate. More touchpoints. More connection. More ways to meet people who actually get it, while protecting what makes this community (and movement) feel different.
